Thanks to our Readers!

We put a lot of work into making our blog readable and relevant and were thrilled to see all that work paid off in 2018.

We are excited to announce that we recently won TWO 2018 legal blogging awards! We are so grateful to our readers for your ongoing support, helpful topic suggestions and feedback.

We want to share all the deets with you!

First, on New Year’s Eve, WE WON A CLAWBIE! What’s a Clawbie you ask? A Clawbie is a Canadian Legal Blogging award. We, and maybe some other lawyers, think it’s a pretty big deal! We won, alongside our friends Sean Bawden and Kate Dewhirst Health Law in the competitive category of Best Practitioner Blogs.

Getting 2019 off to an even better start, we found out in early January that we also won a Lexology Content Marketing Award! We won an award for Legal Influencer for Employment – Canada for Q4 of 2018. This award is special to us, as tech nerds who care a lot about our blog, because the Lexology award winners are chosen by an automated process that uses AI factors, like number of reads. We are thrilled to know that lots of people are out there reading our content and that even the robots who calculated our “LexScore” think we are cool. We were also proud to be one of the only boutique firms among the winners. We may be small, but we are mighty!

Our blog is a team effort. We especially want to give a shout out to the indomitable Hilary Page who does the groundwork for most of our content and to the formidable Janice Morris who pulls it all together week after week. As we continue to grow in 2019, look out for a broader group of writers to fill out our blogging roster.

Here’s to another great year of reaching out to you the reader through our blog posts!  If you have a topic you’d like us write about, feel free to email us at info@springlaw.ca or tweet your suggests to @SpringLawFirm.
