Vivian Liu

Vivian Liu has joined SpringLaw as a Labour and Employment Lawyer, bringing an international cultural background and a thoughtful, client-focused approach to her practice. She offers a unique perspective in connecting with clients from diverse backgrounds and is committed to delivering clear, practical advice tailored to each client’s needs.

Prior to joining Spring Law, Vivian developed her practice across both private firm and pro bono settings, advising on a broad range of employment law matters. She has worked with clients on wrongful and constructive dismissal claims, human rights matters, and issues involving workplace harassment and discrimination. Her experience across different practice environments allows her to approach employment disputes with both strategic insight and practical sensitivity.

A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, Vivian is passionate about giving back to the community. She actively contributed to community service initiatives as a caseworker and interpreter with a legal aid program and mentored undergraduate students for several years as a career coach, supporting them in their professional development.

Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Korean, Vivian is dedicated to ensuring clients who speak different languages receive accessible and effective legal support. Outside of her legal practice, Vivian enjoys getting creative in the kitchen (with mixed but enthusiastic results), cuddling with her dog, and exploring local trails.

She is often in the middle of attempting to learn yet another language.
